Mustangs and wild horses - the image of them inspires a wild spirit of hope and dreams in most who have heard stories of them, seen images of them, or had the great experience of spending time with them in the wild.
The mention of wild horses and mustangs will almost always elicit a reaction and range of emotions... of awe, of joy and excitement, of dislike and contempt. They are loved and they are hated.... the politics of mustangs are undeniable.
And in all discussions and debates, the thing that is most often missing, of what to do with them, how to live with them or eliminate them, what is most often missed is them, they are rarely given their own voice, they are rarely considered as having their own feelings, wants, needs, desires, and voice in their future.
It is time for that to change!
